Christopher Marlowe Bust, part of the Famous Faces collection from Revival Arts of Bath. This bust has been designed and made by hand in Bath, England by master craftsmen using the finest British gypsum plaster.

Like his contemporary, Shakespeare, Marlowe also became a successful playwright.

Rumour has it that he also operated as a spy for Elizabeth I. His exact cause of death remains a mystery.

Celebrated plays include 'The Jew of Malta' and 'Doctor Faustus'.

Figurines around the base are: Rolls of Parchment, Corpus Christi College, Roses, Quills, Rose Theatre, Helen of Troy, Fleet of Ships, Devil and Fallen Columns.

The quotation around the base reads: 'Come live with me and be my love...'

Size: 12cm high.

This bust is accompanied by a folded swing tag, which measures 4.5cm x 2.5cm. The tag has a caricature of the subject with their quotation. The back of the tag explains the quotation. The card inside is blank.
